Our robust ESG governance framework of committees and global networks ensuring a collaborative and proactive approach to embedding our sustainability strategy across the Group
The Board has established an ESG Committee, which is chaired by Louis Eperjesi, Independent Non-Executive Director. The role of the Committee is to ensure the understanding and effective implementation of the sustainability strategy and how it relates to the broader corporate purpose, vision and mission, as well as forming part of the Group’s culture.

Managing risks and opportunities
The Board is directly responsible for climate-related issues and is supported by the ESG Committee and the Audit and Risk Committee. The Steering Committee is responsible for assessing, monitoring, and managing climate related issues and, along with the Head of Risk, assigns ownership of climate-related issues, risks and opportunities to management and heads of functions.
